Track Diagrams
Graphics I drew up ahead of the 2021 Albury Wodonga model train show.
Diagrams show, sizes, wiring and points configuration.
Half Homes
Behind the silo are a stack of homes, unfortunately due to space constraints these have to be ‘half homes’.
They will butt up to the backboard.
All buildings were photographed and draw up in Adobe Illustrator. Buildings are no more than 20mm off the backboard
Printed onto paper, glued to styrene then cut.
.. now to paint them
Roads re-do
I have re done my roads using 1.5mm balsa wood from Bunnings.
I found the Woodland Scenics ‘smooth-it’ wasn’t that strong, smooth or even.
I also want to put magnets in the road and being timber I can cover holes with putty easier.

Designed in Tinkercad
Original 3D printed with Shapeways
Cast using Barnes Resin and Pinkysil
Decals drawn in Adobe Illustrator and printed with custom hobby decals
Colours: Billabong Creek
After doing some tests with sample cards, pouring resin (Barnes) over the top, I have worked out what colours for the Billabong Creek colour I’d like to use.
A lighter colour for the most of it, a darker colour for the middle.
Paints are sample bots from Bunnings. https://www.taubmans.com.au/
